Noah's First Road Trip

We took our first road trip and spent a week in Arkansas earlier this month for the Fourth of July holiday.  Noah got to meet so many family members for the first time.  We were busy all week, and we had so much fun.  We visited family every day, had a Fourth of July cookout and hosted a shower for my best friend Holly and her husband Brad who are expecting Anna Claire in September.  It was great to see my girlfriends from high school who traveled from Oklahoma, Texas, and Louisiana.

We could have stayed another week to actually get some rest and call it a vacation.  Noah did great in the car, and it only took us a little longer each way because we had to stop to feed and change. I would travel with him again if we had the time.  Next stop…the beach next year! :)

Here are some pics from Fourth of July and Anna Claire's Shower

Noah is Six Months Old!

6 Months Old
16.5 Pounds
25 Inches

Noah -
My six month old little man.  How sweet and happy and fun you are becoming.  You are on the move, rolling around, army crawling, and sitting up to grab for toys.  You grab at everything these days, and nothing is safe within your reach.  You have almost mastered sitting up by yourself,  but you still topple over after a while.  Before long, you will have it down.  You made your first road trip to Arkansas last week.  You did awesome in the car!  You got to meet so many new people who love you, and you seemed to really enjoy all of the attention.  You have learned your name, and you respond very well when we talk to you.  You are making all sorts of new sounds.  We tried avocado for the first time today, but you had no interest at all.  We have formed a bond as a family of three over the last six months, and I hear it gets better from here.  We love you so much!

You are a squirmy worm, and it's getting harder and harder to take your picture each month!  We love you sweet boy!
