I can't remember the last time I wrote a poem. It was probably as an undergrad in a creative writing class. I'm a little rusty, but here are three Haikus just for you!
To be sad no more
Is a wish upon a star
Wishful thinking sucks
Forgive don't forget
Isn't that the human way?
Can't seem to let go
Growth is powerful
When it's been too long to count
the sadness of the past
